If I were to summarize this song and its lyrics in a sentence it would be - We’re a dream, so beautiful, yet at times tragic.

Seunghyub wrote this song after watching the movie Your Name. So watching it might give you some context or a better idea of some of the imagery used in the song. :D But it’s okay if you haven’t seen it too.

He wrote it out of a longing feeling and having a lover in his dreams that’s out of touch because she only exists in his dreams.

He also uses the term ‘검정’ which directly translates to ‘blackness’, in which I translated it to ‘darkness’ because it made more sense in English. This term is used to represent his dark thoughts, difficult moments and his reality.

Personal thoughts :
This is a really special song for me because...
1. It’s my most played N.Flying songs of all time (And I don’t actually know why because it’s not my top 1 favorite per se)
2. I somehow chose to sing this song at the Bangkok fansign together with Hweseung because it was a comfortable range and the first verse lyrics were pretty(?) to sing to each other
