I recently found myself wandering around what is self proclaimed as "the most northerly town in the world" and I was very pleasantly surprised by the beauty of its surroundings, the plethora of activities and the spectacular weather. I highly recommend that you add Hammerfest for your next Norway adventure. After all, this is the only place in the world that you can become a member of the "Royal and Ancient Polar Bear Society" and you can only do it in person!
