Over dinner at the Bates Motel, Marion Crane (Janet Leigh) gets to know the establishment’s proprietor Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins). He reveals his taxidermy hobby, as well as the troubles he’s been having with his mother. When Marion suggests he put her in an institution, he balks as "we all go a little mad sometimes." In this incredibly tense scene, director Alfred Hitchcock once again shows that he is indeed the Master of Suspense. Watch Psycho on TCM.
