O HOLY NIGHT — When I was arranging all the songs for the Christmas album… I came to “O Holy Night” and my instant thought was “there are so many AMAZING versions of this… how could we possibly top those or do something different!” And then I realized… I’ve never heard it sung as a duet. 2 incredible singers, having separate moments exercising their full ranges (3 different keys), and ending with a climactic belting at the top of their ranges, TOGETHER. Literally the first 2 people I thought of was @taurenwells and @svrcinasongs . I got chills just thinking about what that would sound like before even asking them. I couldn’t believe they BOTH said yes, and delivered performances that FAR exceeded what I heard in my head. Here we are a couple years later, and getting to now do this with them LIVE annually is something I never thought would happen, and is definitely a highlight of the LIVE show! Every jaw is on the floor, and both chills and tears flow from every person in the room!
