The Hilltoppers consisted of the great lead, Jimmy Sacca, Seymour Spiegleman, & Don McGuire. Arranger, conductor, & composer, Billy Vaughn, sang baritone with the group, as well as , writing such Hilltopper greats as , TRYING, I'D RATHER DIE YOU, & TO BE ALONE. The group was started by Sacca while attending Western Kentucky State College in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
ONLY YOU was composed by Buck Ram, who brought The Platters international fame.
