Sung by virtually every Christian Church choir around the globe, this gospel classic has been covered by literally hundreds of recording artists. Too many to name, but the list includes the likes of Sam Cooke, Johnny Cash, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Willie Nelson, Jim Reeves, and Glen Campbell.

It is also one of the many moving Gospel songs recorded by Elvis Presley, who was known to prefer gospel music over much of the popular material which characterised him as one of the greatest vocalists/performers of all time. Of all the versions I have listened to, his is my favourite!

Can't hope to emulate his incredible talent by attempting to sound like him, but have nevertheless tried to capture the "feel" of this wonderful song by using the same arrangement. Hope you enjoy my humble cover!
