Description
This is the theme song to PBS Kids' Peg + Cat. I composed it (along with show creators Billy Aronson and Jennifer Oxley) and played the ukulele on the show. The ukulele part is more or less exactly how it was played for the show.

It would be a little easier to play in F, but then the vocals get too high to sing for your general youngster. Hence the reason we ended up in Eb for the show.
The uke I'm playing is a Mya-Moe Tenor that was given to me by a very generous person.

I now just call this instrument Peg's Uke. The visual design of her uke on the show is based on this very uke. This also the uke that I use for all the ukulele on every episode the show... which is is a lot of ukulele!
I hope you found this interesting, or at least mildly entertaining.
