Description

"People" was written by Jule Styne, and Bob Merrill for the 1964 Broadway musical "Funny Girl" and introduced by it's star, Barbra Streisand. This wonderful version featuring Barbra Streisand and Stevie Wonder is from her 2014 studio album "Barbra Streisand/ Partners". Stevie Wonder and Streisand have been acquainted with one another since the 1970s. He played the wonderful harmonica background on her 1985 recording of "Can't Help Lovin' That Man" on the "Broadway Album". Stevie Wonder is one of the most talented people in the business. As a young performer, he sang, played the drums, piano and harmonica at a professional level. My two favourite songs of his are "Superstition" and "You And I". He has recently been admitted to the hospital for a kidney transplant. I wish him a speedy recovery.
