"Want to be Close" is the first theme used for Gekkō High in the student's spring semester. A pretty good theme and a classic for Persona 3, although It's a little too short and repetitive for recreational listening IMO.
🎶𝑳𝒀𝑹𝑰𝑪𝑺:🎶
(Sighted from the PERSONA3: Original Soundtrack's booklet. Below is the original text recreated... with the odd, extra spacing and all and further below that is an edited version I made myself with y'know, punctuation. And please, don't take this as a slam against the individual singer or their nationality. --Thanks.)
🔹 𝑳𝒀𝑹𝑰𝑪𝑺 (𝑶𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍):
In the light Men're crossing over lone shadows
Wearing veiled slight hopes for intimacy
Want to be close
To be close
🔸 𝑳𝒀𝑹𝑰𝑪𝑺 (𝑬𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒅):
"𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘔𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘴
𝘞𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘷𝘦𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘥, 𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘺
𝘞𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦
𝘛𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦?"
("I never had a chance to read and understand lyrics before documenting them here and whew, boy! This is a bit 'uncomfortable' for a school theme, isn't it? Unless the men the song's referring to is the boys attending the school-- then! ... I totally understand and it's 100% accurate." - Remix R.)
