Description
The "pitch" range goes from being so low that is is unpitched (you actually hear clicks)to very high pitches. You can have lots of fun by twisting the pitch knob and "sweeping" through all the frequencies.
"Saw" and "square" are similar waveforms. The saw has a "mellow"character to it and the "square" sounds more edgy.
The timbres of these two waveforms and most related to bowed strings and brass in the acoustic instrument families.
