Description
Original rendition of the song most widely known as having been sung by Paul Newman in Cool Hand Luke. According to ASCAP and the song's publisher EMI, it was written in 1957 by Ed Rush and George Cromarty as a parody. This version is an early experiment in the use of multiple VSTs (virtual musical instruments)within the Sonar 6 Digital Audio Workstation. Starting out with just guitar,the other instruments just kept showing up until this Bluegrass flavored piece surfaced. All done via a keyboard and the Sonar 6 Producers Edition DAW.
