On March 27, 2025, Strangers Stopping Strangers brought the music of the Grateful Dead to a place it had never been before: the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium at Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, NJ. This was not only our first performance in the planetarium, it was the first concert anyone has ever played there.

Under a dome of swirling stars and galaxies, we stretched out into “Playing in the Band,” channeling the energy and improvisation that make this Dead classic an open road every time it’s played.
