Polorum Regina is a popular pilgrims' song, contained in the famous 15th century manuscript called "Llibre Vermell de Montserrat", which can be listened to in full here: https://bit.ly/3sy194q
In the manuscript, above "Los Setz Gotxs", "Cuncti Simus" and "Polorum Regina" there is the writing "Aball Redon", which specifies that these monodies are to be played with a fast rhythm and are intended for dance .
This is the only recording in which this indication is taken into consideration, in fact "Polorum Regina" is commonly performed slowly, with mystical approach.
