But in the dead of night, France abducted Kanaky's pro-independence leaders — flew them 17,000 kilometers away, and locked them in remote prisons across France. No trial. No rights. No voice. This is not history. This is happening right now in Kanaky (New Caledonia) — one of the last French colonies in the Pacific. The Kanak people have endured centuries of betrayal, dispossession, and violent repression. And now, as they rise up to demand independence, France responds with colonial terror. This video is a call to action — for Africans, Melanesians, and all freedom-loving people worldwide. We must not be silent.
