Welcome everyone. This video is meant to be a tutorial on how to pray the fourth decade of the Glorious Mysteries, featuring a short introductory meditation, and ten even shorter meditations before each Hail Mary. We will create a video guide for praying a complete Glorious Mysteries rosary, but for now, let us focus our attention on praying a simple decade together.

A complete rosary would typically begin with the Apostle’s creed, followed by an Our Father, three Hail Mary’s and a Glory Be, but today we will start our single decade with a short meditation, then an Our Father. You can follow along by watching the rosary on your screen.

Meditation

Now, we move our fingers on our rosaries to this large Our Father bead. Here we will pray an Our Father together.

Our Father

After the Our Father, we start praying our ten Hail Mary’s. In this version of the Glorious Mysteries, we contemplate a short meditation before each Hail Mary. Move your fingers from the large Our Father bead and start counting one small bead for every Hail Mary we pray together.

Pray all Hail Mary’s

Now, we are at the end of the Fourth Glorious Decade. Every decade of every Rosary should end with a Glory Be, to bridge the gap between this decade and the next. We will now pray our Glory Be, as well as the short “Oh My Jesus” prayer.
