Description
Quatuors Originaux, Op. 75 (Carl August Hansel (1799-c.1885)). This is reminiscent of old hunting horn calls, which date back many centuries. Horns prior to the 18th century rarely had valves, and valveless horns are referred to as “natural horns” where in place of valves, the player uses their hand to manipulate pitch.
