Composed and Published in 1915. Vocalise is a song initially written for high voice/soprano and transcribed to many other instruments. Written for vocal music without any lyrics, Vocalise gives musicality depth without interference from lyrics. It's melody and harmony alone give musical depth speaking depth of human feelings.


Playing it becomes very difficult because we should maintain good vibrato and sound, try to copy an imaginary soprano in our own head. Transfer feeling to bow and strings.
