Cellist George Wolf-McGuire and pianist Yoon Lee, performing the Vocalise a true “song without words” by Sergei Rachmaninoff. It was originally the 14th of his "14 Romances, Op. 34" for voice and piano. Rachmaninoff famously said “Music is enough for a lifetime, but a lifetime is not enough for music.” 2023 is a big year to celebrate the Russian-born composer’s lifetime of music, as the world marks the 150th anniversary of his birth.
