"I wanted to create a remix of a song that symbolises my childhood and adds my personal touch inside. I want to make timeless music with a touch of nostalgia that can cross generations. In making my remix of ‘Big Jet Plane,’ I kept the key elements of the original Angus & Julia Stone song but added an indie/dance vibe so that DJs could play in their sets. I mixed acoustic and electronic drums to give it that 'played by a musician' feel. The bass has an acoustic and a sub-layer to give this same feeling. I updated the iconic guitar riff using Serum synths to add my personal touch. I wanted to enhance the song's original emotion, not change it. Using violins and various guitars, I tried to highlight the track's emotional core.

I first tested the track at a festival in France, and the crowd's reaction was amazing. Seeing how the crowd responded, I knew it had potential. I sent it to BLOND:ISH, and she loved it right away and wanted to sign it. I was thrilled to see her playing the track around the world. It's the first time one of my tracks has been supported by such big artists and also so anticipated."
