First performance since last summer for Rick Fowler - vocal, guitar, Michael Doke - slide guitar, vocal, Deane Quinter - drums, vocal, Greg Veale - bass, vocal, Tim White - Hammond, collectively known as The Rick Fowler Band. They also perform with Beverly "Guitar" Watkins (https://youtu.be/RPv92ABFNP4) and provide superb support for the septuagenarian, Georgia-blues legend. This song (Close to the Truth), written prior to the current political clime, like any good song can be interpreted as personal or political or not. This show was part of the Tourrettes benefit for Camp Twitch and Shout, held at Fort Yargo in Winder, Ga. Randall Bramblett headlined the program. Mike (house sound) provided a board mix to a Tascam DR40 to provide the basic direct sound. I eq'ed that and mixed in the Panasonic HMC40 camera to provide ambience (and reinforcement for the organ/vocal/snare). Rick Fowler Band plays Deadwood Guitars.
