Self-taught at an early age, Rick Vito has always been an innovator in creative guitar work. Strongly influenced by Hawaiian slide guitar Vito was fearless in picking up his family's lap steel, trying to find whatever funky new sounds on it possible. Influences like Elvis, The Ventures, Scotty Moore, and numerous others led his creative drive. It wasn't until a chance visit with the legendary duo Delaney and Bonnie that Vito's music career really started to take off. Session work and professional touring followed. Best known for his slide guitar solo on Bob Seeger's "Like a Rock," Vito can be found on tracks from some of the best players around, and has toured the world multiple times over; ultimately landing a signature guitar endorsement from Reverend Guitars!
