You sure can say one thing about this up tempo tune : you need the best trumpet players (as well as other orchestra members) in the business if you want to bring this with your "band" :-) And Roberto Delgado, alias Horst Wende, duly had these great musicians to his disposal - the same great talented 'bunch' that can be heard on many a James Last or Bert Kaempfert recording as well. Actually, this was the first Delgado piece that I ever heard - it came together with some other "great fun" by Max Greger, Kaempfert, James Last etc on a vynyl sampler which became kind of a "holy object" in my collection .... So, at least for me personally, there are quite a number of happy memories linked to this one :-) ......
Originally from the 1972 album "Latin Special 72" here's the typical latin sound of Roberto Delgado and His Orchestra. Have fun with "Bahia Blanca" !
