Ruthie Foster stopped by Haute Spot to take a look at the venue in anticipation of her upcoming show on February 19, 2022 for a new concert series called LOCAL LICKS LIVE brought to you by Lightstream and KLBJ.

Ruthie Foster is a renowned Austin based blues and folk artist who has won eight Blues Music Awards, garnered multiple Grammy nominations and was inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame in 2019. Music is in her blood, having been raised by a family of gospel singers and her career has had her working with everyone from the Allman Brothers Band, Susan Tedeschi and Warren Haynes to the Blind Boys of Alabama.

LIGHTSTREAM is a collective of fans, artists, and industry professionals that believe in the power of music to lift up entire communities. LOCAL LICKS LIVE is a new concert series that does exactly that. This series allows us to get back to why Lightstream is here: to support local artists, rock out, and do good. Lightstream strives to make the world a better place by supporting and sharing music, from national artists to our very own homegrown ones.
