This is one of Las Cantigas de Santa Maria, telling about the healing of the king:
"Holy Mary, have mercy and come to the aid of your troubadour, for there is need. Holy Mary, have mercy, My Lady let there be healing if it be your will. Since God made you the best of all his things and gave you as our advocate, Holy Mary have mercy, My Lady, and be now my kind benefactor in the struggle. And what then did she, who bestows all good and heals all ills, do? She took away the fever and the noxious humor. Holy Mary, have mercy, My Lady."
