Description
One of my favorite songs of 1984 was this track by the rock band Scandal fronted by Patty Smyth. Written by well-known singer-songwriters Holly Knight and Nick Gilder, The Warrior was a Top 10 hit, peaking at #7 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, and going all the way to #1 in Canada. This single version shortens the instrumental break just before the final chorus.
