Tonight is the latest date in the “Let’s Kill Troy Tour 2017”. Friday night, was Donald Fagen and the Nightfliers. Saturday was, The Fixx in NYC. And tonight, we’re back in the city for Earth, Wind, and Fire at Madison Square Garden. Lynn is very excited about this one and I’m excited for her. I managed a short day at work and am going to take a nap, but not before posting this - “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire off of their album, “The Best of Earth, Wind, and Fire, Vol. 1” which came out in 1978! It was originally recorded during the sessions for their, “I Am” album, but didn’t make it on the record. Verdine White played the bass.

He plays a number of subtle passing tone / phrasing variations, most of which I got and a few that I missed (look for the eye roll). I’ve actually gotten a number of requests for this song over the years, so I’m happy to finally do it. Not much else to say, it’s a great song.
