This is a cover of Shadow's Theme from Sonic 3, which is a dark and menacing motif based on "Live and Learn."
Yeah I know I couldn't believe it myself at first, that Junkie XL would actually ever use themes from the source material, and holy shit did he go all out for Shadow.
This cover is mostly based on the track "The Ultimate Lifeform" specifically the part that wasn't released on the soundtrack which has this almost Hip-Hop/Trap feel to it. It's so fucking awesome seeing Junkie actually being creative with an old theme in this way.
