Orianthi Panagaris or Orianthi, born January 22, 1985 in Adelaide is a guitarist of British and Australian nationalities. His style is often compared to that of other virtuosos such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen or Carlos Santana. Orianthi was Michael Jackson's guitarist during the preparation for his This Is It tour which did not take place due to the singer's death.

Gibbons made his debut in a psychedelic style with two successive groups, the Moving Sidewalks then the 11th Elevator. With drummer Frank Beard and bassist Dusty Hill, he founded the trio ZZ Top, famous for a look and stage game based on the most rootsy Texas folklore. However, beyond this imagery based on the clichés of deep America, the group produces hard-hitting music, especially in the first period of the group, that covering the period 1969-1983 (between the albums ZZ Top's First Album and Eliminator ) which set them up as the figurehead of Texan rock.

More specifically, Billy Gibbons is known as an outstanding guitarist. He is particularly admired by Jimi Hendrix, who hires him for his first games in the 1960s and offers him a pink Stratocaster. In 2011, the American magazine Rolling Stone ranked him 32nd in its ranking of the greatest guitarists of all time.
