Robert Mitchum is regarded as one of the finest actors of Old Hollywood. His wonderful acting is particularly noted in the film noir genre. Some of his best films include Crossfire (1947), Out of the Past (1947), The Night of the Hunter (1955), and Cape Fear (1962). Along with some great images of him is Shirley Bassey's studio recording of "Ballad Of The Sad Young Men" written by Tommy Wolf and Fran Landesman.
