"Hamsayeha" is the debut studio album by Siavash and stands as his most successful and critically acclaimed work. With a production budget of $100,000, the recording sessions took place at Rusk Sound Studios in 1984. Initially, the album experienced modest sales, but after a month, it shattered all Persian sales records in the U.S., Europe, and Canada, ultimately selling over 500,000 copies that year—an extraordinary figure given the relatively small size of the Persian community living outside of Iran at that time. The breakthrough single "Dokhtar Irooni" propelled the album to immediate success.
To this day, "Hamsayeha" remains the best-selling Persian album outside Iran since the Iranian revolution. It was the first Persian pop album released by an artist as young as Siavash. The album features lyrics by the legendary poet and lyricist Leila Kasra (Hedieh), was produced by the renowned producer Elton Farokh Ahi, and was promoted by Alireza Amirghassemi.
آلبوم «همسایه‌ها» اولین آلبوم استودیویی سیواش است و به عنوان موفق‌ترین و پرانتقادترین اثر او شناخته می‌شود. با بودجه تولید ۱۰۰،۰۰۰ دلاری، جلسات ضبط در سال ۱۹۸۴ در استودیوهای Rusk Sound انجام شد. در ابتدا، این آلبوم فروش متواضعی داشت، اما پس از یک ماه، همه رکوردهای فروش فارسی در ایالات متحده، اروپا و کانادا را شکست و در نهایت آن سال بیش از ۵۰۰،۰۰۰ نسخه فروخت - یک رقم فوق‌العاده با توجه به جمعیت نسبتا کوچک جامعه فارسی زبان در خارج از ایران در آن زمان. تک‌آهنگ «دختر ایرونی» این آلبوم را به موفقیتی فوری رساند.
تا به امروز، «همسایه‌ها» پر فروش‌ترین آلبوم فارسی در خارج از ایران از زمان انقلاب ایران باقی مانده است. این اولین آلبوم پاپ فارسی بود که توسط هنرمندی به جوانی سیواش منتشر شد. این آلبوم شامل اشعاری از شاعر و ترانه‌سرا لیلا کسری (هدیه)، توسط تهیه‌کننده مشهور التون فرخ آهی تهیه شده و توسط علیرضا امیرقاسمی تبلیغ شد.
