"Speak Softly Love" is a song composed by Nino Rota for the first film "The Godfather" (1972) in "The Godfather Trilogy". Lyrics were written by Larry Kusik. The instrumental version is known as "The Godfather Love Theme", while the vocal version is called "Speak Softly Love", originally recorded by Andy Williams in April 1972. Al Martino and Bobby Vinton have also recorded the song, among many other artists.

Rota's score for "The Godfather Part II", which also contains this song, won the 1974 Academy Award for Best Original Score.
