I can't say for sure that these two are a couple but Sweetie has tolerated him sniffin' around at her tail longer than she has tolerated any other male. I am sure Casanova is, and has been a prolific "Lover". I have seen him with my own eyes tryin' to get it on with all the female porch critter regulars.
I have read that the males aren't great parents. That they leave after babies are born. Seeing how Sweetie has been with other males in the past, I am thinking that it's the other way around. Momma squirrels kick them out and send them on their way.
