Born in the 80's to two parents who raised their 4 children in the church, we listened to ALOT of Gospel music .Bebe and Cece Winans was in heavy rotation ( who I used to think were married as most of us kids thought lol).
One thing I loved about their producers was that they always programmed their drums to sound like a real drummer! I used to air drum to this song ALL the time as a 6 year old. When this record came out in 1988, I ( and my older brother) always envisioned being on stage playing drums for Bebe and Cece. So here I am now 40 years old finally living out (kinda) a dream of mine!!!!

Straight 80's vibes with the high cymbals and nylon tips!!

So the over all feel and fills mimic that of the record, even down to some of the drum fills especially the last 16th note that goes over the bar line! 🔥
