This is Subtle Sessions, a series of sets where I play a selection of my favorite music. Sometimes we focus on specific genres, while other times we simply let the music take over and guide us wherever it may lead.

Back at it with another random ass location and outstanding music selection. This video was super fun to shoot because I was shy as hell in the beginning, but as I started playing more, I got real comfortable, real fast. I have some amazing news to share with you, by the way—I couldn’t WAIT to tell you. I’m basically going on a mini-tour this Saturday. (I’m calling it a mini-tour for manifestation purposes.) I’ll be in New York on the 15th, LA on the 20th, and then I’ll be in Chicago on the 24th until March 1st. Now, I may not be playing in NY or LA, but in Chicago, I’ll be playing at The Bassline on Tuesday the 25th with DJ D9 and MikeDChicago. If you’re in these cities, let. Me. Know. I want to meet you, maybe kick it, get some recommendations—I don’t really GAF. This mini-tour is all about meeting people, putting myself in positions to succeed, and learning more about myself. I’m overwhelmingly excited but also a little nervous. I’m trying not to raise my expectations too high so I won’t get let down easily, ya know? I truly am going into these trips with an open mind and I am ready and prepared for any and every opportunity that comes my way. Anyway, like I said, if you’re in the areas, hit me up. Other than that, though, I hope the year is going great for you so far. I know you saw Kendrick’s halftime performance. OH MY GAWD. An absolute masterpiece. I’ve watched it five times now, trying to understand and interpret it. The PgLang team is, and has been, doing a damn great job and I want to see them keep winning. I also need the clothing pieces they put out. Did you see Dot’s jacket?? That thang was so hard. I need everything they produce because my closet is weak as hell right now. Alright, I’m done yapping for now, lmao. This episode is one of them ones for sure. So many classic songs, new joints I’ve been listening to, edits of amazing bodies of work. I even played several of my own tracks, along with tracks from artists like UGK, Larry June, Kendrick Lamar, Jamie Foxx, and producers like Knxwledge, J.Robb, and Budgie.
