Welcome to my Tea For Two guitar lesson! This great song was made popular by Doris Day in the movie of the same name. There are also great renditions of Tea For Two Ella Fitzgerals or Django Reinhardt.

I'll show you how to play the Tea For Two guitar chords and melody at the same time. This is called chord melody or a solo guitar arrangement.

Although the tempo can be a bit challenging (it also sounds good when played at a slower pace), my Tea For Two chord melody guitar arrangement is fairly easy to play. At least if you know the basic jazz 7th chords, which there are plenty of in this tune.

I explain everything slow and easy in my Tea For Two guitar tutorial. I explain each section in detail and then play through it at slow tempo.

You can download the Tea For Two guitar tab from the link in this description box. I've also made a Tea For Two Backing track, which actually comes in two tempi, regular and slow tempo, so you can play along right away.

You can play Tea For Two finger style or, like I do, with a combination of pick and fingers. This technique is called hybrid picking. It takes a while, but I think it's the most flexible way to play the Tea For Two guitar chords and the melody together. I also added some nice runs when there were larger gaps between one chord to another. Tjis helps to connect one chord to another and closes the spaces.
