“Thank You for Being a Friend” gained widespread fame as theme song for the sitcom “The Golden Girls” (@goldengirlshd), performed by Cindy Fee. This iconic song was originally written and performed by Andrew Gold (@AndrewGoldOfficial) on his 1978 album “All This and Heaven Too”. Like many other Andrew Gold songs I get a happy feeling hearing or singing this song.

I don’t usually take part in traditions, however, if I were to make an exception, this song would be my personal contribution to my one and only love in celebrating Valentine’s Day.
