It's Cover Song Season!
I've made some pretty darn amazing friends over the span of my sixteen years on this planet. It's taken too long to actually get to the point where I had the skills to try and express how thankful I am for each and every one of them so this is my tribute to all seventeen of you watching this.
Back story! Most everyone alive knows the Golden Girls theme song. What I didn't know until about a month ago was that it was ALSO a cover of a song written by Andrew Gold in the late 70s as a tribute to his composing partner. The whole original song is fantastic and VERY 70s so I thought it would be fun to create a version of it in my own weird way.
And yes, I actually played drums. Talk about a heart attack moment trying to figure out how to do that.
