When I look up at the sun I see the day is almost done
I know the sun lights up the moon but only on one side
The sun is gone too soon
But here's the Autumn moon.
When I look up at the stars I can't imagine they're so far
away I know their light must travel through the universe
But they look full and new
Just like the Autumn moon.
When I look up at the moon my family looks up there too
And then I see the lanterns lighted
Swaying in the breeze
And high above Kowloon
I see the Autumn moon.
