Christmas is soon here and a lot of YouTube organist have begun uploading all sorts of lovely Christmas candy for us all to hear. The perhaps most known of all here on YouTube is Gert van Hoef. He has made a lovely chorale prelude on the hymn “The first Noel”. I bought it, loaded up the organ of Caen, and applied a MASSIVE crescendo.
