Description
She was sunshine in bare feet… and now, she’s a stranger.
This is my most personal song yet. It’s for the mothers who raised daughters with love, only to be left behind — blamed, misunderstood, rewritten by someone else’s version of the truth.
The line “Christian in name but cold at the core” isn’t an attack on faith. It speaks to a specific kind of “healing” culture that uses faith language to justify estrangement — the kind my daughter fell into.
If you’ve been labeled toxic… dangerous… or erased by someone you would’ve died for, you are not alone.
🎧 This is for every mother grieving someone still alive.
