The Owls! 3 different kinds of owls - soft, smooth, and itchy - fly through the air to their nests. "Hoo" along with them as they get ready to go to sleep - and then wake up when the moon comes out to go find some food! How many owls can you count? A great song for fall and Halloween! Use it at home or in the classroom.
This song is on the album "A Laurie Berkner Halloween"

Lyrics:
One Owl was flying up high in the air
Then I heard it say, “Hoo!”
This owl had feathers
It didn’t have hair
And I heard it say, “Hoo!”
Its feathers were SOFT!
When it got to its nest
It said “I’m one SOFT owl”
And it lay down to rest
Then I heard it say, “Hoo!”
Two owls were flying up high in the air
Then I heard them say, “ Hoo hoo!”
These owls had feathers
They didn’t have hair
Then I heard them say, “ Hoo hoo!”
Their feathers were smooth!
When they got to their nest
They said “We’re two smooth owlsl”
And they lay down to rest
Then I heard them say, “ Hoo hoo!”
Three owls were flying up high in the air
Then I heard them say, “ Hoo, hoo hoo!”
These owls had feathers
They didn’t have hair
Then I heard them say, “ Hoo, hoo hoo!”
Their feathers were itchy
When they got to their nest
They said “We’re three itchy owlsl”
And they lay down to rest
Then I heard them say, “ Hoo, hoo hoo!”
(Quietly)
Now all of the owls were resting in bed
And I heard them say, “ Hoo hoo, hoo!”
And none of these owls had hair on their head
And I heard them say, “ Hoo, hoo hoo!”
They snuggled together
Soft, itchy and smooth
Soon it was nighttime
And out came the moon …
So the owls woke up!
In a really good mood!
Saying, ‘We’re all hungry owls!”
And flew off to find food
Then I heard them say, “ Hoo hoo, hoo hoo hoo hoo!”
