#Peranakan History, Culture and Songs performances by "The Peranakan Voices" Choir from The Peranakan Association Singapore (TPAS) held at the festival opening on 16th July 2011 at the Singapore HeritageFest 2011, "The Peranakan Voices" event at the open field behind Ang Mo Kio Public Library.
These three songs are sung in three different languages :

11:20 Moon (The Moon Represents My Heart / 月亮代表我的心) sung in a mixture of Malay, English and Mandarin languages

What do you know about Peranakans? Who are we, the Peranakans ? Where do we come from ? Where were our origins being a Peranakan? These questions were prompted by this sweet lady in red and green baju kebaya (dress).
