Description
The Rick Fowler Band performed the Johnny Winter set from Woodstock 1969 at the Athstock Festival in Athens, Ga. Sponsored by Artist 2 Artist and Southern Brewing Co., the daylong event was held at the Southern Brewing Co. stage on Aug. 5, 2023. Various bands were selected to represent performers from the original Woodstock event. "Mean Town Blues" was the 3rd song in Johnny's Woodstock set. Rick Fowler Band is Michael Doke - slide, vcls; Rick Fowler - guitar, vcls; Deane Quinter - drums; Greg Veale - bass, vcls. Tim White plays Hammond organ but didn't perform at this show. Vocal audio isn't as good in this clip - no board feed or FOH mics.
