The Snow Collective are:
Ronald van der Bij - bass guitar
Hendrik van der Bij - drums, percussion and sleigh bells
Cornelis van Slageren - lead vocal, backing vocals, piano, guitars, tubular bells
Renique Westra - backing vocals
Children of band members - choir

The Snow Collective are four guys from The Netherlands who've played together in various bands for almost twenty years. Spring 2016 they decided to record and distribute a Christmas song that Cornelis already had recorded in 2012.

The band took one whole year to rewrite and improve the song and October 2017 they went into the recording studio. After they finished the recordings the song was mixed by Patrick Mühren @ the famous Arnold Mühren Studio in Volendam (The Cats) and mastered by the also famous Sander van der Heide @ The Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum. November 30th, the track was finally ready to be distributed and the 2nd of December 2017 the band released the song.

In his first year the song did not gain much airplay, but was streamed quite a lot, especially in the Netherlands but also in the Philippines, Austria, the United States of America, the UK, Sweden, Germany and Japan. Also, several newspapers in The Netherlands published about the song.

In the following years the spread to new countries went on and on: Mexico, Italy, Costa Rica, Australia, Denmark, Saudi Arabia and Canada (2024!) were added to the streaming list.

Hopefully, Christmas Time 2025, again, we can make a lot of people happy with our song!
