Description
While not all sports bars are created equal, everyone who enters Libero in Altrincham is treated as such.
‘Inclusive’ and ‘sports bar’ aren’t two things you often see in the same sentence - but this 16-seater spot in Altrincham’s secluded King’s Court is a tiny temple to the beautiful game, where everyone’s welcome, and the ‘no knobheads’ policy really seems to work a treat.
Run by the genial Rooney (even his name is football adjacent), you can watch the match surrounded by vintage knick-knacks from the 90s game, as well as superb beers from around the world.
There’s even a screen in the lav, so you don’t miss a minute of the action.
Once you’re done - and washed your hands - you can head next door to get a top flight burger from I Call Myself Sanchez and eat it on this hidden gem of a terrace.
We loved it here. And remember, if you’ve got a recommendation for us, leave it - and the reason why we should go there - in the comments below.
