It's with pain in my heart that I announce the passing of jazz harmonica player and pianist Tim Welvaars (Sept 16th, 2020) my musical companion in our duo Amsterdam Connection. An incredibly talented musician and wonderful person will be missed by many. We've played together for 5 years with great passion, inspiration and joy. We've been able to record several albums and perform in many wonderful cities worldwide at several special occasions. I feel truly grateful to have shared an important part of my musical journey and adventures with Tim, being a big inspiration and huge support.
Although with his passing, Amsterdam Connection won't perform again, we wish that our recordings will continue to give you joy and peace. On this page I'll post several videos in memory of our musical journey together and in special memory of Tim. May he rest in harmony and heavenly peace 🙏🎶🙏💔 - Naomi Adriaansz
