Hakuna matata! It's time for another comparison between the original and remastered prints of a Disney cartoon's intro. Have no worries, 'cause this installment is for Timon & Pumbaa (the TV series based on The Lion King)!
This show actually has the opposite aspect ratio situation when compared to Goof Troop and Chip 'N' Dale Rescue Rangers: while iTunes only has the HD remaster cropped to widescreen, Disney+ has every remastered episode in the show's original 4x3. Also, notice how some of the episode clips in the remastered edition of the opening are slightly out of sync at the beginning, and that the show's logo doesn't zoom out in the new edition of the intro's closing shot.
