My yellow rose is, of course, not a wild rose, but a well-tended one. The woodland sage, by contrast, thrives unattended and conquers places in my garden that were not originally assigned to it.
The music is the opening piece to the "Woodland Sketches" Op. 51, No.1 by Edward Macdowell (1860-1908). I love the tranqility it transmits. I hope you´ll enjoy listening to the piece just as I enjoyed playing it together with my piano teacher.
