This song is very simple, but carries an unparalleled elegance. It also offers a unique technical challenge in that certain notes within its chords have more melody than others, and thus different fingers of the same hand must play with a different weight. To be honest, it’s not my favorite thing I’ve played, but it’s overall a nice piece to have in one’s repertoire. Speaking of which, this summer I will be creating a challenge where you, my viewers, get to vote on a contemporary song for me to arrange for piano! More details on that coming in a month or so.
