True Lies is a 1994 American action-comedy film written and directed by James Cameron. The movie stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as Harry Tasker, a seemingly mild-mannered computer salesman who leads a double life as a secret agent for a covert U.S. government counter-terrorism task force known as Omega Sector. His wife, Helen (played by Jamie Lee Curtis), believes he’s a boring, overworked salesman, unaware of his real identity.

The film opens with Harry infiltrating a party in Switzerland to retrieve stolen nuclear weapon blueprints. Back in the U.S., he continues his espionage work while maintaining the façade of an ordinary suburban life. However, things begin to unravel when he suspects Helen of having an affair, while simultaneously a terrorist group called Crimson Jihad, led by Salim Abu Aziz (Art Malik), emerges as a global threat.

As Harry investigates Helen’s secret life, he ends up dragging her into his world of espionage. The couple is captured by the terrorists and taken to an island in the Florida Keys, where Harry discovers that Crimson Jihad has acquired nuclear warheads and plans to detonate one in the U.S. unless their demands are met.

Using his skills and quick thinking, Harry escapes, rescues Helen, and foils the terrorists’ plan. In the explosive climax, he pilots a Harrier jet to save his daughter Dana (Eliza Dushku), who is taken hostage by the remaining terrorists. In the end, Harry and Helen become partners not only in marriage but also in espionage, working together as secret agents.
